The DSC Comp System – HD Series is engineered specifically for the HD P4.5, converting the factory sight block configuration into a true compensated setup for flatter shooting, faster follow-up shots, and improved overall control.

System Fitment & Requirements
This is a precision-fit system, not a universal drop-in product.
- Slide required for fitting (complete build preferred)
- Hand-fit to your specific slide for optimal performance
- Tuned for proper timing, lockup, and long-term reliability

- DSC Comp Barrel System (Barrel + Integrated Comp Block)
- Modified EGW Guide Rod & Flat Wire Recoil Spring
Everything is configured to work together as a complete system—not just individual parts.
Front Sight Options
The DSC Comp System – HD Series does not include a front sight by default.
If selected, we will:
- Mill your slide for a front sight
- Install a new front sight while your slide is in-house
This provides a clean, traditional sight picture with the compensated setup.
Factory Configuration Remains Unchanged
- Your factory sight block barrel remains completely untouched
- No modifications are made to OEM components
- Easily swap between factory and compensated setups at any time
Run it how you want—performance when you want it, factory when you need it.
Finish Options
Available in stainless/stainless standard, with optional premium finishes:
- DLC (Black)
- PVD (Copper)
- TiN (Gold)
- Hard Chrome
Finish can be applied to:
- Barrel only
- Comp block only
- Both
Caliber Options
- Standard: 9mm
- Optional: .38 Super
If you would like your DSC Comp System chambered in .38 Super, please:
- Leave a note at checkout or
- Include a note when sending in your slide/build for fitting
Turnaround Time
- Stainless (no coating): ~2 weeks
- Coated (DLC/PVD/TiN/Hard Chrome): ~4–6 weeks
(Lead times begin once your slide/build is received.)

If you order a product from DSC, we will stand by our product and correct/fix an issue if it may arise. Please note, no returns are accepted on custom barrel services/products or used drop-in barrels. Approved returns on new, unused, non-defective products may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Return shipping may be required for projects involving complete firearms rather than individual parts to ensure proper insurance coverage during the return shipping process.
DSC Drop In Barrels
DSC barrels are designed for drop-in installation, in conjunction with factory counterparts such as factory slide stop and recoil - we continuously strive to improve the quality of our drop-in barrels as each style and variant is custom-made, hand fitted to shop models, and coated per order.
Turnaround times are estimated to be approximately 5-7 weeks after the initial purchase, though they are subject to change depending on the situation. *Stainless variants may ship sooner, depending on the order.
**In the unlikely event that you experience any issues with installing your barrel, we offer free custom fitting.
