I thought my SAS 5 was the prefect 2011, but the ported barrel from DSC made it even better, and flatter shooting. Perfect fit.
I'm getting a second one for my New 2026 TAC 5, because Bull Armory does not have the Pro available. Yes, It may be more money but having an extra baller is worth it.
Fitment was perfect right if the box! Accuracy was same as factory which is amazing!
This barrel is excellent! It is extremely accurate and it fits my Kimber 2k11 Comp perfectly. And it is very pretty too. It does matter :-)
I don't write reviews very often, usually only when an experience is truly exceptional.
I had a few questions about the installation. I called DSC and was able to speak with Dave. He was incredibly helpful, walked me through the installation process, answered all of my questions, and gave me the confidence to install it myself without any issues.
The compensator fits perfectly, looks fantastic, and the overall quality is exactly what I was hoping for. Great product backed by excellent customer service.

I bought a 5" Kimber 2k11 stainless as soon as they came out. Not long afterwards they came out with the chunk ported version. I then wished I got the one with the chunk port. I looked at trading mine in, after I already added a Holosun 507 Comp. Of course, they wanted to give me $1,200 for a six week old pistol with maybe $200 extra with optic. I like my 2k11 but wanted a comped or ported version. I came across DSC and decided to try the drop in comped barrel. Since I dropped it in, very easily, I rented a Sig P211 GTO and Staccato XC at the same time. I think it definitely shoots better and flatter than the Sig and dare I say as equal, if not slightly better than the Staccato. It 2k11 is so flat now. My dot stays in the window when quick firing. Only thing I need to do is change my trigger. Staccato has a much better trigger, but I have a Red Dirt trigger on the was and for less than $200 I'll have an equal trigger. All together, my Kimber 2k11 with drop in comped barrel, updated trigger will shoot as well or better for $1500 less than a Staccato XC. I also don't lose over $1500 on a trade. It also shoots better than the factory chunk ported 2k11. Very high quality barrel. Highly recommend.
I put this on my 3.5 Romulus. Dot never leaves the window, outstanding value without having to change a thing on your gun. Best value in a gun mod that you can do at home. Would do it again in a hartbeat! The black DLC matches the finish perfectly
I sent my slide for my staccato CS to Dave and he worked absolute magic on my gun! It now shoots like a much better full size firearm. I would recommend Dave's work 10 times out of 10! He flush cut and reverse crowned my barrel, copper PVD and polished the barrel, and added the MR1 port. Absolutely impeccable work!
Well, at a moment of real desperation regarding a competition, they came through for me with great work—delivered just in time for the event—so I was able to assemble, adjust, practice, and compete. Thanks to the great DSC family. The only thing is, I sent a message about another job I want done on a different firearm, but I haven't heard back yet. I have purchased multiple Kimber 2k11 barrels from DSC and they have never disappointed, great quality and fit. Noticeable reduced muzzle rise on follow up shots. Would recommend to others looking for a high quality replacement barrel for this gun.

I’m old enough to remember having to send your pistol out wait 6-8 weeks to have a compensator installed by a gunsmith. Technology is amazing to be able to have a drop in unit. I also want to add it works great and looks great as well. Very simple to install.

What’s more to be said than zero hand fitting required, accurate well past 100 yards, and a beautiful finish! I will be buying from here again it was exactly what I was looking for!!
Home based FFL that has done hand fitting and performance upgrades for a while. The barrel exceeded expectations in every way. Zero fitting was required. This barrel was a truly drop in part. Accuracy was 1" at 25 yards. Flawless.
Not the V6 ported/ reverse crown barrel for my Bul UL. Very happy with the barrel and Anna Simcik was a huge help in ensuring I ordered/received exactly what I wanted
I ordered the sight block so I could run in USPSA limited optics. This is perfect! Added bonus of being compatible with tooless guiderod!

This was very easy to install and looks much more open than the original comp that came on the pistol. I sprayed mine with high temp engine paint and baked it in the oven before installing so it would be close to the same color as the rest of the pistol.

Had my slide DLC coated on my Kimber 2K11 pro. This handgun had a little overhaul by Dave with new trigger, ported and comped, DLC coating of barrel and then since it was an Eclipse sent the slide back for DLC coating. The new work makes this gun look incredible. Dave is an expert at his craft. Never disappoints.

Installed new barrel. Ran 200 rounds Ish through it in a competition style setting movement shooting around barricades. The gun ran flawless. Good job guys.
