Inline Port Service

Improve control and reduce muzzle rise with our Inline Port Service for 1911/2011 pistols. Precision-machined ports vent gases upward to soften felt recoil and help deliver faster, more accurate follow-up shots.

Porting Styles:

• Classic: Our original Inline Port design featuring traditional, full-size port holes. The number of ports is determined by the firearm’s make, model, barrel length, and caliber.
• Micro: Features smaller-diameter port holes and is best suited for compensated setups and compact builds. The number of ports varies by firearm.
• Apex: An aggressive, tactical-style slide cut machined to contour around the ports. Apex may be paired with either Classic or Micro port-hole sizing. The Apex design is cosmetic and does not provide a performance difference compared to the corresponding standard Classic or Micro configuration.

Please Note:

• Port quantity and placement are determined by the firearm’s make, model, barrel length, caliber, and existing slide configuration.
• Micro porting is generally recommended for compensated setups and smaller builds.
• Apex describes the style of the slide milling and can be combined with Classic or Micro port-hole sizing.
• This service requires the slide and barrel to be sent in.

Service Details:

• Approximate turnaround time: 3–5 weeks
• Permanent modification performed in-house to exact tolerances

All machined and coated areas are susceptible to normal wear over time, especially in high-friction or high-contact areas.
