The Matrix Port is our most refined hybrid porting system, engineered for shooters who want maximum control, fast sight tracking, and a clean, purpose-built aesthetic. This package combines micro inline barrel porting with an aggressive slide port configuration to deliver a flatter, faster-shooting pistol without compromising reliability.
Configuration Options
1. Micro Inline Port + V-Slot Pairing
A balanced configuration pairing precision micro inline barrel ports with V-slot slide ports. This option offers excellent muzzle rise reduction with smooth recoil characteristics and a clean, symmetrical appearance.
2. Micro Inline Port + V4 Port Pairing
A more aggressive setup combining micro inline barrel ports with V4 slide ports. This option maximizes gas venting and visual impact while maintaining proper function and reliability.

Micro Inline Barrel Ports
Precision-machined inline ports designed to vent gas upward, reducing muzzle rise while maintaining consistent dwell time. -
Model-Specific Port Layout
The number and placement of micro inline ports are determined by slide length, caliber, and specific model to ensure optimal performance. -
Compatibility
Designed for Athena, Titan, NYX, and Romulus platforms, the Matrix Port may also be available for select 1911/2011 builds utilizing bull barrels or compensator-style setups. Bushing-style barrels and slides with front serrations that interfere with port placement are not eligible. Compatibility is determined by slide and barrel geometry. -
Spot Cerakote Included
Spot Cerakote is included on all newly machined slide surfaces to protect exposed metal and maintain a clean, finished appearance. -
Performance-Driven Design
Improves recoil control, reduces muzzle rise, and enhances sight tracking for faster follow-up shots.

If you order a product from DSC, we will stand by our product and correct/fix an issue if it may arise. Please note, no returns are accepted on custom barrel services/products or used drop-in barrels. Approved returns on new, unused, non-defective products may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Return shipping may be required for projects involving complete firearms rather than individual parts to ensure proper insurance coverage during the return shipping process.
DSC Drop In Barrels
DSC barrels are designed for drop-in installation, in conjunction with factory counterparts such as factory slide stop and recoil - we continuously strive to improve the quality of our drop-in barrels as each style and variant is custom-made, hand fitted to shop models, and coated per order.
Turnaround times are estimated to be approximately 5-7 weeks after the initial purchase, though they are subject to change depending on the situation. *Stainless variants may ship sooner, depending on the order.
