Upgrade your 1911/2011 frame with a premium, wear-resistant surface treatment. Each frame is prepared and inspected in-house before and after finishing to provide lasting durability, corrosion resistance, and a refined appearance.

Finish Options:

  • DLC Black – deep, sleek, and ultra-durable
  • PVD Copper – bold metallic accent
  • TiN Gold – classic, high-contrast finish

Details:

  • Available with satin or polished flats
  • Frame must be sent in for service
  • Average turnaround time: approximately 6–8 weeks
  • Surface treatments are performed offsite and processed in batches
  • Turnaround times are estimates and may change based on batch timing and the finishing facility’s schedule
  • Each frame is prepared and inspected in-house before and after treatment
  • All coatings and finishes are susceptible to normal wear, particularly in high-contact areas such as the frame rails, safeties, and magazine release
  • Service only available for Frames made from Steel

Please remove the grips and any aftermarket accessories before sending in your frame. If sending a complete firearm, the Overhaul & Fit service must be added to your order for proper disassembly, reassembly, fitting, and function testing.

Shipping & Returns

If you order a product from DSC, we will stand by our product and correct/fix an issue if it may arise. Please note, no returns are accepted on custom barrel services/products or used drop-in barrels. Approved returns on new, unused, non-defective products may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Return shipping may be required for projects involving complete firearms rather than individual parts to ensure proper insurance coverage during the return shipping process.

DSC Drop In Barrels

DSC barrels are designed for drop-in installation, in conjunction with factory counterparts such as factory slide stop and recoil - we continuously strive to improve the quality of our drop-in barrels as each style and variant is custom-made, hand fitted to shop models, and coated per order. 
Turnaround times are estimated to be approximately 5-7 weeks after the initial purchase, though they are subject to change depending on the situation. *Stainless variants may ship sooner, depending on the order. 
**In the unlikely event that you experience any issues with installing your barrel, we offer free custom fitting.
