Upgrade your 1911/2011 frame with a premium, wear-resistant finish. Our vendor-applied coatings offer exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and a refined appearance to complete your custom build.

Finish Options:

  • DLC Black – deep, sleek, ultra-durable

  • PVD Copper – bold metallic accent

  • TiN Gold – classic, high-contrast finish

Details:

  • Available in satin or polished flats

  • Service requires sending in your frame (complete firearm requires our Overhaul & Fit option)

  • Turnaround time: approx. 5–7 weeks

  • Professional vendor-applied finish, prepared and inspected in-house before and after treatment

  • All coatings and finishes are susceptible to normal wear over time, especially in high-contact areas (frame rails, safeties, mag release, etc.)

Note: Please remove grips and aftermarket accessories prior to sending in. If the complete firearm is shipped, add Overhaul & Fit to your order for proper disassembly/reassembly.

Shipping & Returns

If you order a product from DSC, we will stand by our product and correct/fix an issue if it may arise. Please note, no returns are accepted on custom barrel services/products or used drop-in barrels. Approved returns on new, unused, non-defective products may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Return shipping may be required for projects involving complete firearms rather than individual parts to ensure proper insurance coverage during the return shipping process.

DSC Drop In Barrels

DSC barrels are designed for drop-in installation, in conjunction with factory counterparts such as factory slide stop and recoil - we continuously strive to improve the quality of our drop-in barrels as each style and variant is custom-made, hand fitted to shop models, and coated per order. 
Turnaround times are estimated to be approximately 5-7 weeks after the initial purchase, though they are subject to change depending on the situation. *Stainless variants may ship sooner, depending on the order. 
**In the unlikely event that you experience any issues with installing your barrel, we offer free custom fitting.
