Island Barrel Inline Port Service

This service is designed specifically for 1911/2011 platforms equipped with an island-style barrel. Inline porting is precision-machined to improve gas venting, reduce muzzle rise, and enhance overall shooting control while maintaining reliability.

Service Details:

  • Inline porting for island-style barrels

  • Improves recoil management and flatter tracking

  • Precision-machined and tuned per barrel

Turnaround Time:

  • Approximately 3 weeks

Important Notes:

  • Surface treatment or coating of the barrel is recommended but not required

  • If this is the only service selected, only the barrel is required—no slide or frame needed

Shipping & Returns

If you order a product from DSC, we will stand by our product and correct/fix an issue if it may arise. Please note, no returns are accepted on custom barrel services/products or used drop-in barrels. Approved returns on new, unused, non-defective products may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Return shipping may be required for projects involving complete firearms rather than individual parts to ensure proper insurance coverage during the return shipping process.

DSC Drop In Barrels

DSC barrels are designed for drop-in installation, in conjunction with factory counterparts such as factory slide stop and recoil - we continuously strive to improve the quality of our drop-in barrels as each style and variant is custom-made, hand fitted to shop models, and coated per order. 
Turnaround times are estimated to be approximately 5-7 weeks after the initial purchase, though they are subject to change depending on the situation. *Stainless variants may ship sooner, depending on the order. 
**In the unlikely event that you experience any issues with installing your barrel, we offer free custom fitting.
