This service permanently removes the factory Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI) cutout from your barrel hood for a cleaner, more refined appearance.
We add stainless material to fill the LCI opening, then hand-blend and polish the area until it is seamless with the surrounding surface. Once completed, the barrel hood has a solid, uninterrupted profile with no visible factory cutout.
This process improves aesthetics while restoring full material integrity to the hood area where the factory relief was present.

If you order a product from DSC, we will stand by our product and correct/fix an issue if it may arise. Please note, no returns are accepted on custom barrel services/products or used drop-in barrels. Approved returns on new, unused, non-defective products may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Return shipping may be required for projects involving complete firearms rather than individual parts to ensure proper insurance coverage during the return shipping process.
DSC Drop In Barrels
DSC barrels are designed for drop-in installation, in conjunction with factory counterparts such as factory slide stop and recoil - we continuously strive to improve the quality of our drop-in barrels as each style and variant is custom-made, hand fitted to shop models, and coated per order.
Turnaround times are estimated to be approximately 5-7 weeks after the initial purchase, though they are subject to change depending on the situation. *Stainless variants may ship sooner, depending on the order.
**In the unlikely event that you experience any issues with installing your barrel, we offer free custom fitting.
